The Little Ninjas – The Fun and Educational Way to Learn Martial Arts for 4-7 Year Olds
The Little Ninja Martial Arts Program is designed for ages 4-7 with fun high energy classes. We believe the time between ages four and seven are the most important years in a child’s development.
All our classes are designed to enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way. These skills will help them enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future.
The Little Ninjas Program will also prepare your child for our children’s martial arts program. They will learn how to work with others and follow directions from their instructors. Our Little Ninja instructors are trained specifically to work with pre-school aged children.
Every child is gifted in some way, just as every child will be challenged in some way. Some children are afraid to handle struggles or challenges and will only want to do things they are certain they will be able to do well.
Our job is to encourage children to meet and succeed in all of life’s challenges.
Keeping children interested in their martial arts requires and element of fun and games. The Ultimate Martial Arts Academy incorporates fun games involving proper techniques which add to the value of training and keep children interested and enthusiastic.
Students work to a defined curriculum and grade structure. Lesson objectives include the development of confidence, fitness, self-discipline, self defence and awareness as well as providing a place for the children to interact and develop social skills in a safe environment.
Class numbers are kept low in order to give more focused tuition and allow children to get the best from the program.
We have worked with children and youths with various challenges such as bullying, weight issues, low self esteem, lack of co-ordination or focus and children that feel they just don’t fit in anywhere.
We take pride in the leaps and bounds children have made since joining our programs – from the troubled youth who starts to gain an identity and finds self respect, to the child with low self esteem whose parents watch proudly as their child stands tall and executes techniques in front of a class full of people.
Your child is important to us and we want them to be the best they can be, in the gym, at home and in life.
Victims of bullying have a hard time making friends and often suffer from low self-esteem. It is also know that children who bully are more likely to have poor grades and indulge in underage abuse of alcohol and tobacco. Most child bullies grow up to be bullies in adult life.
The good news is that the Bully Buster program can help the victim become a peaceful victor and help the bully deal with and conquer their problem.
The program will empower children in the art of fighting without fighting or how to defeat the bully peacefully. If your child(ren) are exhibiting behaviour that suggests they are the victim or the bully, this program will suit them. Society is crying out for help and the Bully Busters can be an intelligent and effective way to prepare our children to cope with todays challenges.
The Bully Busters Basic Tools are:
- Make Friends – Treat the bully as a friend instead of an enemy
- Use Humour – You can turn a threatening situation into a funny one
- Walk Away – Dont get into it, walk away
- Use Your Creative Imagination – Use imagination to resolve conflict
- Agree With The Bully – The winner of the fight is the one who prevents it
- Refuse To Fight – The winner of the fight is the one who presents it
- Stand up to a bully – Stick up for yourself. Just say NO! to bullying
- Scream / Yell – A powerful shout can end conflict before it starts
- Ignore the threat – Be like bamboo—bend in the wind
- Use authority – Call a proper authority to help you “defeat the bully”
- Reason with bully – Use the most powerful tool you have—your brain
- Martial Arts stance – Be a victor—not a victim!
Bully Busters is endorsed by the National PTA and the National Teachers Association and we are proud to endorse the program and utilise it in our classes.
